KONAMI Showcases a Winning Lineup at gamescom 2011
The International Market is in the Crosshairs with Major Titles Including
"PES 2012 -Pro Evolution Soccer," "NeverDead," and "SILENT HILL Downpour"

KONAMI is showcasing a winning lineup of titles at gamescom 2011*1, Europe's biggest video game industry trade show, which kicked off Wednesday, August 17th, in Cologne, Germany.
At this year's gamescom, KONAMI is showcasing "PES 2012 -Pro Evolution Soccer," the latest installment in the Winning Eleven series, which is also well respected in the European market where soccer is extremely popular. Other titles in this year's lineup include "NeverDead," a major action game and joint Japan-overseas production, along with "SILENT HILL Downpour," the latest installment in the SILENT HILL franchise, which is also headed to the big screen once more with a second live-action movie.
And from the "METAL GEAR" series, a global franchise that has sold over 30.1 million units*2, KONAMI is showcasing two highly anticipated games: "METAL GEAR SOLID PEACE WALKER HD EDITION," a title supporting the new "Transfarring" feature for seamlessly continuing your game between platforms, and "METAL GEAR SOLID SNAKE EATER 3D," a title reborn as a highly immersive, brand new experience thanks to the use of 3D graphics and gyro sensor controls.
Two other titles joining this lineup showcase are "Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights," a puzzle-solving adventure game taking players on an epic quest for treasure in 19th century Paris?beautifully reproduced with the assistance of the France Tourism Development Agency?and "Leedmees," a puzzle-action game for Kinect™ utilizing your entire body as the controller, which enjoyed much praise at E3 2011*3.
KONAMI will continue to produce content that everyone in game markets the world over can enjoy.
