KONAMI is proud to present a charity event guaranteed to turn heads across the globe, the "Great East Japan Earthquake Charity Baseball Match — Supported by KONAMI." This event is backed by all 12 Japanese pro-baseball teams, and will be overseen by the Nippon Professional Baseball Organization (NPB).

This momentous charity matchup will be held on Saturday, March 10^th, and will see 2 international titans face off at the Tokyo Dome—"SAMURAI JAPAN," representing Japan, and "Chinese Taipei," representing Taiwan. An amateur-level match is also planned for the same day, and will pit a team consisting of select corporate-sponsored baseball players against a team of select collegiate players.

A provider of a wide variety of baseball-themed content starting with the "Professional Baseball Dream Nine" social game, KONAMI is also an NPB Partner, and works tirelessly to promote the sport through a variety of activities and events, such as the KONAMI Nippon Series.

KONAMI will be pouring the entirety of its efforts into ensuring the upcoming charity match is an energizing source of hope and inspiration to all those affected by the Great East Japan earthquake, and the country as a whole.
