KONAMI will release the realistic baseball game "PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL SPIRITS 2010" on Thursday, April 1, 2010. The game is available for the PlayStation®3, PlayStation®2 and PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) gaming platforms.

The "PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL SPIRIT" series is a realistic baseball simulation game that accurately portrays the expressions and movements of players. This latest release includes portable gaming devices, meaning that users can play "PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL SPIRIT" wherever they are, and against friends and colleagues online.

"PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL SPIRIT 2010" features a coach advisory system, where the coach provides the user with game strategies, theories and player substitutions based on the actual game being played. Those users who are not very familiar with the rules and theories of baseball can now play against other users on a level playing field.

This release also features a new Grand Prix mode.* This allows the user to play games as the coach and collect coins within the game, purchase player cards at shops, and create original teams.
Teams can be created to take advantage of the characteristics of each player, and to participate in tournaments.
