KONAMI has released ,just in time for the opening of the pro baseball season, its pro baseball news flash application “Mobile PAWAFURU PUROYAKYU Ikkyu Sokuho” 2010 version for three carriers, EZweb, i-mode, and Yahoo!.

The “Mobile PAWAFURU PUROYAKYU Ikkyu Sokuho” is a news flash application that notifies users about all official games* involving Japan’s 12 professional baseball teams. In it, the characters of “JIKKYO PAWAFURU PUROYAKYU” recreate the game scenes in real time. It also comes with play-by-play and background music featuring cheers, so that users can feel like they’re watching an actual live broadcast as they enjoy the game. The news flash application uses game screens, so both pro baseball fans and game fans alike can have fun watching the games.

Also, in order to let fans of the various teams enjoy the app, the Chunichi Dragons, the Hanshin Tigers, and the Yokohama BayStars will use the app to offer “Ikkyu Sokuho” specifically for their own teams on those teams’ official websites.
