KONAMI has released the touch shooting game METAL GEAR SOLID TOUCH (hereafter, “MGSTouch”) and the action game “Frogger” for use with the new portable terminal “iPad®” from Apple. These two titles are released in conjunction with “iPad” in Japan, America and Europe.

The graphics for both games have been improved for use with the “iPad,” and feature contents that make the most of the large-size screen and high resolution.

MGSTouch features contents based on the view of the world as seen in the action game METAL GEAR SOLID 4 GUNS OF THE PATRIOTS *. Intuitive operation is controlled via the touch panel, enabling players of all levels to easily enjoy the game.

In Frogger, the touch panel is used to control the up/down/left/right movements of the main frog character as the player avoids obstacles such as cars and crocodiles, all the while aiming for the frog’s home on the opposite side of the screen. Players receive original wallpaper designed for the “iPad” based on their game results in both of titles.

KONAMI’s quick release of games for use with diversified platforms allows a larger number of players to enjoy high quality digital contents through worldwide distribution.
