KONAMI has released PAWAPURO TOUCH 2010, the Officially Licensed Version, for the iPhone and iPod touch under an official licensing agreement with the Nippon Professional Baseball.

This thrilling new app featuring players from twelve different Japanese professional baseball teams enables players to pitch, hit, and run simply by tapping or sliding their finger across the device’s screen.

Loaded with all the latest player stats for the upcoming 2010 season, the new phone app gives users a real taste of the action-packed excitement that will soon be coming to baseball diamonds all over Japan. One of the game’s innovative modes lets users draft their favorite players from across both NPB leagues to put together a dream team and face off against the computer. Then there’s the “pennant mode,” in which players slug their way through the pennant race, Climax Series and finally the Japan Series in a bid to be crowned national champions. Not only can users fill out their team roster by mixing and matching actual players from teams across the NPB, they can also use the game’s “arrange mode” to create their own team logos, names, and uniforms.

KONAMI has teamed up with the NPB to deliver the joy of baseball to people everywhere with exciting content that’s sure to spark an enduring love of the game.
