Classic Baseball Game Comes to PlayStation®3
“JIKKYOU PAWAFURU PUROYAKYU 2010” to be released on July 15

KONAMI will release “JIKKYOU PAWAFURU PUROYAKYU 2010” for PlayStation®3 and
PSP® (Playstation®Portable) on Thursday, July 15. It is the first title in the “JIKKYOU PAWAFURU PUROYAKYU” series to be released for PS3®.

The PS3® version features a “dynamic camera function” where in the camera zooms in on nice plays and close plays to make the heated games all the more exciting. Additionally, the faces of each of the players on the twelve professional baseball teams have been individually reproduced to capture their unique traits. Moreover, it also comes with an “Online” mode which allows players to battle it out for a national ranking and play against others via a network so that they can enjoy game-based communication.

The PSP® version features a “My Life” mode where the player becomes an athlete and enjoys the life of a professional baseball player and a mode that allows players to hone the skills of the athletes they create using “PoTaCa”(trading cards that can be obtained within the game). Leveraging the functions of a portable game machine, players can enjoy versus matches, athlete training and other features anywhere at any time.

KONAMI will expand the opportunities for both existing and new customers to enjoy baseball games through this new development in the “JIKKYOU PAWAFURU PUROYAKYU” series.
