KONAMI is going all out with an energetic early lineup of NINTENDO 3DS™ titles from such flagship series as "Winning Eleven," "METAL GEAR," and "PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL SPIRITS." The NINTENDO 3DS™ is a new portable game system allowing users to enjoy 3D gaming without the use of special eyewear.
The first title slated for release is "Winning Eleven 3DSoccer," the latest installment in the "Winning Eleven" series*1. The game is also a launch title, arriving in stores the same day as the NINTENDO 3DS™?making it the first title in the world available for the new portable game system. The game's 3D graphics add enhanced realism to the ball's trajectory and the field's depth, allowing users to feel as if they were playing right there on the soccer field.
Plans also call for the release of "METAL GEAR SOLID: SNAKE EATER," a brand new action game; "PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL SPIRITS 2011, " a baseball game that realistically portrays professional baseball players and stadiums; and "Project LOVEPLUS for NINTENDO 3DS*2," a new entry in the "LOVEPLUS" series of dating simulation games that have become a social phenomenon in Japan.
But the 3D fun does not stop there thanks to a diverse lineup that also includes titles such as "Doctor Lautrec to Bokyaku no Kishidan*2," a new adventure game in which players seek treasure in 19th-century Paris, and "Asphalt 3D: Nitro Racing," a racing game featuring 42 kinds of licensed cars.
KONAMI will continue to offer its users worldwide the most enjoyable and electrifying new titles by aggressively adopting the latest technologies and deploying a wide range of content suited to specific platforms.
