Raising Money through Arcade Game Machines

April 14, 2011

Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd.

Our sympathy goes out to all those affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake.

KONAMI is supporting relief activities and helping reconstruct areas afflicted by the devastating earthquake and tsunami through its entertainment content.

Starting April 7th, arcade games "MAH-JONG FIGHT CLUB ultimate version" and "QUIZ MAGIC ACADEMY VIII" will allow players to make donations through charity items that can be purchased with KONAMI’s e-money service, PASELI. All of the proceeds will go to the Japanese Red Cross Society to benefit relief efforts.

In addition, KONAMI is featuring encouraging messages on the homepages of its respective production studios and has provided 1,000 KONAMI picture books to the children of afflicted areas via the Japan Toy Association. KONAMI also has various other plans for earthquake relief lined up to be put into action in the near future.

We pray for the early recovery of the afflicted areas and will work hard to bring joy to the victims through our business activities.
