Since 2005, KONAMI has supported the JPBPA in furthering efforts to bring baseball into the national spotlight and contribute to the sport as a whole. The most recent KONAMI Presents Let's Play Catch schedule kicked off at Tokyo Midtown (the location of KONAMI's corporate headquarters) in the very heart of the metropolis before proceeding to Nitobe Bunka Elementary School (also in Tokyo), Iwaki Green Stadium (Fukushima Prefecture), the KONAMI Sports Club main facility "Arena" (Tokyo), and Yugawara Seaside Park (Kanagawa Prefecture). Spanning these 5 locations, over 5,000 people participated in the 6 total events.

At each event, participants could enjoy some friendly interaction with a smile, playing games of catch led by professional baseball players while learning how to throw the ball in a way that would be easy for their partners to receive.

KONAMI, also a Nippon Professional Baseball Organization (NPB) Partner and KONAMI Nippon Series 2011 sponsor, pledges to continue its support of the sport of baseball, sparking yet further national interest and securing an even brighter future for the beloved pastime.

* KONAMI Presents Let's Play Catch is an event intended to provide an opportunity for people to discover the fun of baseball, and features professional baseball players instructing participants in the basics of playing catch using special soft balls.
