Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. will be showcasing their newest arcade games featuring tie-ins to social games and smartphone applications, creating a whole new way to play at the AOU 2012 Amusement Expo to be held Friday, February 17^th, at the Makuhari Messe International Convention Complex (Chiba Prefecture).

The new large-size medal game "Venus Fountain" features jets of water shooting up in a spectacular display when players hit the jackpot, bringing even more excitement to arcades. It will be linked with a smartphone game, and each game will enhance its counterpart. Playing both games will allow players to collect items for their "Venus Fountain" collection, receive medals that allow for longer playtime in the smartphone game, and more.

In "Steel Chronicle," an online action game where players across the country cooperate together, players will be able to train support characters (small robots) for the main game via a social game.

Expo-goers can also expect many more titles featuring tie-ins for feature phones and smartphones alike that will expand the ways in which arcade games are played, such as the medal game "Eternal Knights TRUST" featuring a social game counterpart.
